The Department of Multi Design at Kangwon National University is a place where students learn how to communicate with the world through design. Through a wide range of courses — including Web Design, Graphic Design, AI Graphics, and Interactive Design — we embrace the rapidly evolving visual and digital landscape, guiding each student to discover their own unique perspective and creative voice.
In our classrooms and studios, learning goes beyond acquiring technical skills. Students are encouraged to observe, to question, and to seek their own answers. Ideas become sketches, sketches turn into experiments, and experiments ultimately grow into completed works. Every step of this journey is both a process of learning and a record of personal growth.
Because we value this journey, we share it with the world through our semester exhibitions. These showcases go beyond presenting final outcomes; they serve as meaningful platforms where students engage with society, encounter diverse perspectives, and take the next step forward as emerging designers.
At Kangwon National University’s Department of Multi Design, we believe design is not merely a skill to master, but an attitude toward understanding people and the world around us.
